Name: Vincent Thomas Olson "The Savage Falcon"
Alignment: Anti-Hero
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Physical description: Vincent is about 5’8” and weighs in at 168 lbs. He has long layered, shaggy brown hair with piercing chocolate brown eyes. At first glance, he may not look very intimidating or strong, but as the saying goes “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. He has a slim, yet muscular build that looks as like a young Bruce Lee. Not necessarily as ripped as Lee, but appropriate for his age. He has white skin with a slight tan and round facial features. He has a faint five o’clock shadow on his face that he keeps trimmed normally. In his civilian form his clothing varies from sleeved and sleeveless t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, cargo pants, jeans, jean jackets, leather jackets, and the occasional ball cap.
As Falcon, he wears lightweight black spandex that covers his legs and torso area, leaving his arms bare. Over the spandex he wears a broad dark grey vest with black trimmings that split apart at the chest area in a V-formation with a matching grey cloth tapered at the waist area. Lightweight black cloth pants are worn over the spandex as well. Grey metallic armbands, made from a light material, are attached to his forearms as well as grey armored shin guards. A black spandex hood covers his head and a grey facemask covers his mouth and nose, leaving his eyes the only noticeable part of his body. He is armed with about twenty small bladed weapons, which he stores in a bandoleer like belt over his shoulders. On the belt of the costume is a small metal cylinder that extends into a short sword with the flick of a switch. The most apparent part of his costume is the two gigantic metal wings that are attached to the back of his costume. The wings are made from light materials that fold neatly into the back compartment of his suit.

Personality: Vincent Olson is a very deceptive man in terms of his overall personality. It depends on which side of him you happen to encounter. At first glance, he seems to be very happy, chill, outgoing guy. He smiles a lot and is willing to help out people in need. A bit of a flirt, Olson has been known to be quite the charmer when it comes to the ladies, a trait that most likely gets him in trouble every once in a while. He’s very quick with a quip or two. Overall, he comes off as a very likeable, friendly, guy with a great sense of humor.
All of this, however, is part of a façade that he puts up in order to hide his real self. On the inside, Falcon is a lonely soul, a little kid raised in a twisted, dark environment. The son of two League of Shadows members, Olson was raised to be an assassin. Given his past, he feels shame for all the dark deeds he has committed in the past under the League’s control. He has taken husbands away from wives, siblings from siblings; parents from children and vice versa and these haunt him everyday. He rarely shows this side to people, as it’s quite simple: who in their right mind would trust a guy who used to work for a bunch of terrorists? He’s quick to lie about his past, and he’s quite good at that. He’s got several false stories ready to give people when they ask. Despite the friendly persona he gives on the service, Falcon doesn't want to become too attached to anyone, out of fear of what the secrets of his dark past might do to those he loves. Being fresh out of the league, he is extra alert, watching out for any signs of the League's spies in the event that they are looking for him.
As Falcon, its almost as if he shows a completely different person. One word to describe him is serious. He prefers not to waste any time when it comes to carrying out his missions. He prefers to get in, take care of the object, and get out. He can come off as extremely threatening if he is in a situation where he needs to interrogate someone. When facing off against someone who actually poses a challenge to him, Falcon is no stranger to retorting to taunts as he tries to frustrate his opponent. After a great amount of time following the League of Shadow’s orders, Falcon is no one’s lapdog. He has an issue with authority and doesn’t like to be given orders. While he isn’t opposed to the occasional team-up, he prefers to do his work solo. He has a code of honor: he will not kill those he deems as good or innocent. With that said, he has no problem using lethal force to take down opponents or targets. While he was trained to not lose control of his emotions on the battlefield, it should be noted that when provoked, Falcon has an incredible temper, which can be a deterring factor for him when he is on a mission. He tends to act more brashly when enraged.
Powers/Skills/Abilities: Advanced Martial Artist: Thanks to his training as a child, which consisted of daily sessions with Master Kirigi, Vincent is a phenomenal martial artist. He has crossed trained in several styles of martial arts including Shaolin Kung-Fu and its sub styles, Varma kalai, Krav Maga, Taekwondo, and Ninjutsu. He is an incredibly dangerous hand to hand combatant, mixing these styles together He is also a trained weapons fighter in terms of swords and knives.
Marksmenship: Falcon does not use guns when carrying out his activities, due to the fact that they are too noisy. That said, he is a very capable marksmen in terms of throwing knives.
Assassin: Falcon is knowledgeable in several forms of assassination techniques, which include pressure points and stealth. The stealth portion of his training comes in handy when he is out on assignments or fighting crime.
Flight: As his name suggests, Falcon’s costume is equipped with a pair of metal wings that he can activate at any time with the press of a button built into his armbands. He mainly uses these wings for gliding purposes. Falcon can dive with these wings as well. The wings fold neatly into his costume’s backside. It should be noted that, all though they are made from a light material, the wings can become really heavy once they are unfolded. To solve this problem, Falcon can detach the back compartment at any time with the press of a button on his armband. Once airborne, Falcon can reach up to speeds of 150mph. If needed, Falcon can use these wings in combat, to bat his opponent away from him. He can also fold them around his body to create a shield from most known manmade projectiles such as bullets. However, they will not protect him against supernatural/nonhuman weapons such as energy blasts or much larger projectiles such as tank rounds.
Paraphernalia:

Bladed Weapons: Falcon’s bandoleer houses several bladed weapons which include:

History: Vincent Thomas Olson did not have what one would consider being a “normal” childhood. He was the son of Richard and Gloria Olson (Code named Eagle and Heron respectively), two ninja assassins that were members of the fabled League of Shadows. Both elder Olson’s were known for carrying out tasks from the sky, hence their code names. Born in an undisclosed League location in Metropolis, Vincent was raised in the assassin system. Everyday as a young boy, Vincent would watch the much older members of the league take part in their daily training exercises in admiration, wishing that he could one day join them in their day to day routines.
This all changed when Vincent was about five years old. At this particular time, a crisis broke out in Egypt as a new dictator rose up to take control of the people. Instructed to go in and deal with the situation, the Olson’s left Vincent in the care of the other league members, telling him that they would be back after the mission had been accomplished. This was the last time he ever saw them again. As he grew older, he would sometimes ask his fellow Leaguers what actually happened to his parents, only to be met with mixed responses.
Under the League’s guidance, Vincent spent the rest of his childhood training to become an assassin, like his parents before him. He was trained in martial arts, target practice, stealth and other essential tactics. As time went on, Vincent found himself partaking in various assassination tasks around the world. It was certainly a great surprise tactic for the victims, as who would expect a little kid to be a killer? The young killer found himself becoming much more colder with each kill, taking one step closer to becoming the perfect assassin. When the boy turned thirteen, the league presented him with a special grey uniform that was modeled after his father’s old costume, with a pair of wings attached to its backside. With this costume, came a new identity and code name: Falcon.
Several years later, Falcon was assigned with a new mission. His task was to assassinate a man who had offended the League in someway, shape or form. Falcon didn’t bother to question the nature of the assignment, viewing it as just another job. Arriving at the residence of the target, Falcon wasted no time to eliminate him in cold blood. As he was about to make his retreat, Falcon heard the sounds of a kid’s voice. He turned to see a young boy at around five years old, the same age he was when he lost his own parents. Something clicked inside him, as a realization hit him. He just killed a man in front of his own son. He made this little child an orphan. An orphan like himself…
Sickened by the brutality of his act, Falcon fled the scene as quickly as possible. As he retreated, memories began to replay from his previous assignments. The people he killed had families too. He had become a monster. A monster that was created by a society of killers to heed their every call and order. No more. Filled with sorrow and a new found hatred towards his former “family”, Falcon chose not to return to the League’s headquarters, disappearing like a thief in the night.
Now living on his own, Falcon has sworn to live by a new creed as he tries to redeem himself for all the pain he has caused.
Roleplay sample: It began with the sounds of birds chirping...
Vincent Thomas Olson, the ex-League of Shadows member known as Falcon, let out a soft groan as his eyes slowly opened. His head felt like he had just taken a jackhammer to it and his muscles ached with every movement as his vision slowly started to correct itself. With a pained groan, Vincent slowly climbed to his feet.
The last thing the winged warrior remembered before he blacked out was a robbery at a Gotham City video store. When he went down to intercept the thugs, he was taken by surprised and flung against a wall of TV's, causing them to crash around him. The next thing he knew, he was standing in the middle of a jungle.
Wait a minute...a jungle?
"What the hell?" Falcon stated, shaking his head rapidly as if was trying to wake himself up from a bad dream. Low and behold, there he was in the middle of a jungle. In his confusion, Falcon reached up to scratch the back of his head, feeling his shaggy brown hair on the tips of his fingers.
This simple action was the first indication that something was terribly wrong. Where was his hood? He looked down at his body to find that he was still dressed in his Falcon costume, but his gauntlets, hood and mask were missing. His grey robes were covered in dirt. He also noticed that his suit was lighter then usual. He touched the back of his suit only to reveal something more shocking.
His wing pack was gone as well as his knives and sword.
Falcon snarled as he reflected on the situation. Here he was in the middle of nowhere without any of his equipment. He couldn't believe his luck at this moment.
Instead of mulling about this situation any longer, Falcon decided that he should start exploring the area. As he moved around the dirt covered area, he realized that he had fallen into some sort of hole. He went over to the edge and pulled himself up to look back down at what he had fallen into.
The image he saw before cause the young man's eyes to widen as his jaw dropped. There before him was a large footprint, with three digits extending in a leaf like pattern, like a giant bird's foot.
A wave of fear and uncertainty passed over the young assassin's mind as his thoughts raced.
That was when he heard the rustling. It was coming from a near by bush. Falcon whipped around and ducked into a fighting stance, ready to face whatever was coming towards him. "Who's there?" He commanded, his words laced with a compound of force and fear.
