Not Site Seeing. (Adam, Jack)

Adam had been asked by his friend Zatanna the mistress of magic to meet her at the airport. Apperently she had found a new hero in the United Kingdom and wanted Adam to go along with her to meet said hero. Adam called in from school and packed his bag. He stored his suit in his backpack as always, refilling his utility belt. Luckily, Adam had invented a way to fold up his hover card so he could pack it up. Once he was all pack he got in a taxi and got driven to the airport. Once there he looked around for his raven haired female friend. Once he spotted her he was about to run up to her until he saw that she was entertaining a young girl. Adam watched with a small smile on his face at the girls excitement. He thought back fondly of a time when he himself could allow himself to feel such excitement. He watched happily until he heard the small girl say she had to go back to her orphanage. This made Adam feel a deep sadness he had tried to block out for many years. He walked past the young girl slowly, giving her a small but warm smile as he walked up to Zatanna.

"Hey Zatanna, nice show. It was sweet of you to give the kid that bunny. I..it sucks that she is an orphan. I know that feeling all to well."

Adam sighed and tried to shake the sadness out of his mind so he could focus on the task at hand. He smiled at Zatanna seeing that she had their tickets already. Truth be told Adam was excited about meeting this new hero. He was also excited about going on a plane. He had never been on one before. He threw his backpack over his shoulder and grinned.

"So, you ready to go Z? I'm excited to meet this mysterious young hero. Just lead the way."

Adam then walked past her. In truth he felt nervous. He had never met another young hero like himself. He had heard the reports of this girl and was also nervous because he wasn't good around women from lack of practice. He just shook it off and thought of how cool it would be to have this girl become his crime fighting partner. Part of him also wanted to fight this new hero to test his skills. He knew nothing of this girl or what was to come but he knew one thing for sure. He was excited and ready for anything.

Adam blushed a deep red blush when Zatanna used her magic to changed his clothes into a tux. He then sighed and kept his back slung over his shoulder. Refusing to let it leave his side just yet. He started blushing again when he saw what Zatanna was wearing. As Adam entered the party with Zatanna he noticed the woman he knew to be scorpion from the files walking in with a man in a protective manner. Once they were inside, Adam looked around at all of the swanky people in suits and began to feel uncomfortable. He looked at Zatanna from the corner of his eye, keeping sight of "The scorpion" at the same time.

"I think I see our girl. She is guarding a man. I see her watching everyone. I'm going to try and talk to her. Make sure to keep an eye on me at all times. Something doesn't feel right."

Adam then gently passed his bag over to Zatanna and then turned to face her with a stern look.

"Do not lose that bag. It has my gear in it."

Adam then slowly made his way through the crowd of rich people to make his way to the beautiful blonde. When he finally did reach her he quickly checked his breath and straightened his bow tie and fixed his hair. He then blushed as he walked up to her bowing politely. He then looked her over gently and smiled.

"Might I say, you are very beautiful. I would count myself lucky to be in the company of such a lovely but deadly creature. Such beauty must help distract you enemies from the scorpions strike. I myself dabble in changing the cards life has dealt me and others. I and my friend Zatanna traveled a very long way to meet you. We would like to offer you a oppertunity. The chance to have a new life, a better life. A chance to leave your past behind you. A chance to shuffle your deck as it were. First however, I would like to offer you my name and a dance. The names Jackson, Adam Jackson."

Adam then grinned a smooth grin and held out his hand to the beautiful but deadly blonde. He hoped she would accept. Adam blushed at the thought of dancing with such a beautiful creature. He thought back to the day Zatanna met him and read his future. She talked about how he would be someones great love. Maybe Scorpian would be the one.

Adam just smiled with a small chuckle as Jack threatened him about talking about her past. He just nodded gently and then blushed surprised as she took him out on the dance floor and put her arms around his neck. Blushing a deep red color he placed his shaky hands on her slender hips as the song began. He began to slowly dance in a circle with her and listened to how she was looked at as amusing by those who could handle her. This made Adam smile a small smooth smile as he gently twirled and dipped the beautiful blonde before pulling her close to him. He just grinned at her with smooth confidant grin.

"You would be surprised what I can handle beautiful."

Adam smiled and twirled her again and began to dance with her smoothly like they were a king and queen. She was so beautiful and she smelled so good. Adam blushed a small nervous blush as they danced. He was so not used to being around such a beautiful woman. She was like a goddess. Adam's hands shook for a moment as he tried to think of something to say to her. He just decided to get right down to business.

"I do apologize for bringing up such a touchy subject on such a beautiful night as tonight. The reason I brought it up was because we heard all about you. My lady friend Zatanna is one of the worlds highest authorities on magic, she and I have worked with the hero known as Batman. When Zatanna heard about you and your exploits she thought you would be a great candidate for something. For what she has yet to tell me. All I know is that it's supposed to be a brand new start for those involved like you and I. I just count myself lucky to be in the presence of someone so lovely and skilled as yourself."

As the song came to it's end, Adam kissed Jack's hand with a smooth smile.

"It truly has been a pleasure my dear. I must go check on my friend. When you are ready to speak about Zatanna's proposition we will be close by."

Adam then smiled and slowly walked back over to Zatanna, his face red as an apple from being around such a beautiful woman. Adam just sat in a chair next to Zatanna, he was smiling from ear to ear from the experience.

"Thanks for bringing me Zatanna. I remember awhile back that one of my Tarot cards was for great love..I..I like this woman. I don't know what it is..being around her just made me feel lighter then air. I told her why we were here, the next move is hers. Though..I really hope she wants to spend more time with me."

Adam smiled and blushed as he leaned back in his chair while keeping an eye on the beautiful but deadly woman. If anything was to go right tonight, he hoped it was that she wanted to spend more time with him.

Adam just couldn't stop himself from grinning as his favorite magician told him that the real reason she had brought him along on this trip was because she and some other person thought he would be a good leader for some Teen hero team. He then thought about the beautiful Jack and smiled. This was a recruit mission. Adam then almost cheered when Zatanna put him back in his gear which made him way more comfortable. Wild Card pulled on the cowl to his costume to keep the eye mask safe and quickly checked the compartments of his utility belt. He then saw the concern on his friends face and watched as a bunch of thug looking men began filling the room and blocking the doors. Adam should have been worried but he was more excited then anything. In truth, he hated the stuffed shirt crap and was itching to kick some thug ass. Adam looked around for Jack and saw that she was now being threatened and was armed. Adam watched as Zatanna go for the doors.

"Now it's time for my kind of party!" 

Adam made a break for Jack just to be cut off by a group of four thugs with guns who instantly started shooting. Adam quickly dove behind a table putting it on it's side. Adam quickly looked around for things he could use as a distraction. Adam grinned as he saw some of the plates on the floor. He quickly rolled over to them while dodging fire. As he ran he threw the plates, knocking the guns out of the thugs hands. He then ran at the group quickly sweeping one of the thugs feet out from under him and then kicking him with his heel on his way down knocking him out. Adam then felt himself get grabbed from behind by a thug bear hug style. While being held, another thug tried to approach, when he did, Adam quickly bent his body to shoot his feet against his holders face knocking him out causing himself to get free. As the thug went down, Adam quickly with all his strength picked up the man tossing him at the last one. Once the group was cleared Adam ran to Jacks side getting into fighting position. As he prepared himself he made sure to shoot Jack a smooth flirtatious wink as he pulled out an extendable staff.

"Now Ms.Scorpion, now that we are both in more comfortable clothing, why don't we try that dance again. Let's show these morons it's rude to cut in and crash parties." 

Adam then proceeded to use his staff to disarm some more of the thugs making sure to try and get quick head strikes so that when they went down they stayed down. Even though he was in the middle of the fire fight he could fight the temptation to flirt with Jack.

"Ya know Scorpion, I would love to see you outside this stupid stuff shirt event, I was thinking, since I came to recruit you for this team I am supposed to lead, how about I take you to dinner, maybe a movie? I can totally handle what you've got, with or without the poison arrows!"

Adam then grinned as he managed to knock out three gang members with one quick circular strike.

"I could someone as skilled and as beautiful as you as my second in command and as my girl friend. So whatcha say, after we finish off these party crashers and ya knock that jerk to the curb I treat ya to a real date?"

Adam grinned as he finished off his group and just stood at the ready, staring off the man who had threatened the beautiful blonde. The real party was just about to begin.
